Scope of Work
Mid-City was the electrical contractor for the construction of the TJX Data Center a Tier III data center composed of 82,000 square-feet located in New Albany, Ohio. As the project’s electrical contractor, our team executed the installation of electrical service and systems, which included 125 miles of underground conduit, two 35 KV circuits, five 2.5 MVA transformers, and five 2500 KW generators. Although an incredibly compact schedule, congested workspace, and harsh winter weather challenged our team, w e completed 70,000-manhours in nine short months and received a 2011 BX Craftsmanship Award for our efforts. The TJX Data Center was completed in 2011.
