Biography
Prior to joining Mid-City, Dan worked in a variety of positions and construction-based field's, including positions as a Field Quality Control Technician on Civil and Geotechnical projects, a Project Engineer (as a GC) for large-scale dormitory project at Ohio State, and a BIM Coordinator for a structural engineering firm. As a BIM Operator at Mid-City, Dan works closely with fellow trade partners, designers, and our Preconstruction department to create and coordinate 3D models of our electrical and technology scopes for construction projects. Using software, such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD / AutoCAD Civil3D, he’s able to coordinate our scope of work with the other trades and minimize rework or issues prior to field material install. In his free time, Dan enjoys cooking, relaxing, and spending time with his wife and three dogs, Marley, Chewie, and Mosby.
