Mid-City Electric is delighted to announce that Kipp Criswell has been promoted to Vice President of Field Operations.

As Vice President of Field Operations, Kipp will manage labor relations, while providing advice, guidance, and direction for all project field employees. He will continue to oversee all assigned work activities and proactively resolve challenges, as well as lead initiatives to streamline processes among departments and within the field.

“Kipp has done an excellent job at embracing and implementing change in the field over the years, and we’ll definitely need that expertise as we move toward the future,” said Brian Dew, President of Mid-City Electric. Kipp has spent more than 25 years in the construction industry, joining Mid-City as a journeyman wireman in 2001. “Our field is at the heart of what we do, and his passion for it has been instrumental to our success,” Dew said.

Over the years, Kipp’s tenure in his various positions at Mid-City has allowed him to contribute to the team in a variety of ways. He served as Mid-City’s Director of Field Operations and oversaw the field for the past 10 years. He recently served as a project executive on a mega construction site here in Central Ohio and is proud to be part of Mid-City’s leadership team, working with others to facilitate short and long-term strategic planning for Mid-City Electric.
